Stalking Jack the Ripper Series Books in Order

Stalking Jack the Ripper Series by Kerri Maniscalco is a YA historical mystery series following Audrey Rose Wadsworth, the daughter of a Victorian nobleman who secretly studies forensic medicine under her uncle's tutelage — a passion completely at odds with what her society expects of a young woman of her class. When the Jack the Ripper murders begin, Audrey Rose and her exasperating, brilliant partner Thomas Cresswell find themselves at the center of an investigation that puts them both in danger.

Maniscalco writes Victorian atmosphere with genuine research depth — the social constraints, the emerging science of forensics, the specific texture of 1880s London — while delivering the YA historical romance pleasures that her readership loves. Thomas Cresswell is one of YA fiction's most beloved love interests: arrogant, brilliant, and gradually revealed to be entirely worthy of Audrey Rose's attention.

The series expands its geographical scope with each book — from London to Romania to New York to India — while maintaining the central partnership and the forensic investigation premise. Maniscalco's world-building is consistently impressive, making each setting feel researched rather than decorative.
