Riyria Revelations Books in Order

Riyria Revelations is the best starting point for Michael J. Sullivan's fantasy world. The published Orbit editions are three omnibus volumes, but they contain six original adventures about Royce Melborn and Hadrian Blackwater.

Start here if you want the story as most readers first met it. The series begins with thieves hired for what looks like a simple job and grows into a larger epic about kingdoms, old powers, hidden history, and friendship under pressure.

Readers can later move to Riyria Chronicles, which is set earlier, but reading the prequels first changes how some revelations land.
