Jammer Davis Books in Order

Jammer Davis Series by Ward Larsen follows Frank "Jammer" Davis, a former Air Force accident investigator and test pilot who applies his aviation expertise to investigations that go well beyond routine crash analysis — international conspiracies, state-sponsored sabotage, and threats that begin with a downed aircraft and end somewhere far more dangerous. Larsen is a retired Air Force pilot himself, and every page reflects that expertise.

The aviation authenticity is the series' defining characteristic. Larsen understands how aircraft actually work, how investigations are conducted, how pilot culture functions, and how the aerospace industry operates at every level — from the flight deck to the boardroom to the maintenance hangar. That knowledge gives the Jammer Davis novels a credibility that no amount of research alone could replicate.

The series launched in 2011 and built a devoted following among aviation enthusiasts and thriller readers who appreciated the combination of technical authenticity and propulsive plotting. Davis himself is a compelling protagonist — a professional who carries his expertise with matter-of-fact confidence and who is consistently capable of finding the human truth inside the mechanical failure.

Begin with Fly by Wire and read in publication order. Fans of Vince Flynn for the thriller momentum and aviation-specific readers who want fiction that gets the details right will find the Jammer Davis series among the most satisfying in its niche.
