Satoru Gojo

Satoru Gojo is the most powerful Jujutsu Sorcerer in the world in Gege Akutami's Jujutsu Kaisen manga — a teacher at Tokyo Jujutsu High School whose Infinity technique and Six Eyes ability make him effectively invincible in combat, whose playful exterior conceals absolute confidence, and whose commitment to his students — particularly Yuji Itadori — reflects a genuine belief that the next generation can change a broken system. He is simultaneously the series' most powerful figure and one of its most warmly written.

Akutami writes Gojo as someone who has transcended the kind of fear that most people need to function in a world full of curses — his power is so complete that threats that would paralyze others are genuinely trivial to him, which gives him a lightness and playfulness that his students find infuriating and reassuring in equal measure.
